Migration Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Migration Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Migration Amendment (Protection and Other Measures) Act 2015 (No. 35 of 2015).

Act 35 of 2015

The Migration Amendment (Protection and Other Measures) Act 2015 (the Act) amends the Migration Act 1958 (the Migration Act) to implement a range of measures which increase efficiency and enhance integrity in the onshore protection status determination process. The measures in this Act support an effective and coherent protection determination process which responds to the challenging domestic asylum seeker landscape.

The amendments made by Act 35 of 2015 have been updated in the Point-in-Time Migration Service current to 22 April 2015. (NB: Subscription required).
