Migration Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Migration Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the amendments from the Migration Legislation Amendment (Cessation of Visa Labels) Act 2016 (Act No. 34 of 2016).

Act 34 of 2016

The Migration Legislation Amendment (Cessation of Visa Labels) Act 2015 (the Act) repeals the Migration (Visa Evidence) Charge Act 2012 (the Charge Act) and amends the Migration Act 1958 (the Act) to repeal provisions relating to visa labels which no longer have any practical effect. The amendments are consistent with the government’s regulatory reform agenda.

The amendments made by Act 34 of 2016 have been updated in the Point-in-Time Migration Service current to 4 April 2016. (NB: Subscription required).
