Corporations Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Corporations Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the latest amendments from the Corporations Amendment (Auditor Registration) Act 2016 (No. 58 of 2016).

Act 58 of 2016

The Corporations Amendment (Auditor Registration) Act 2016 amends the Corporations Act 2001 (Corporations Act) to address the legal consequences arising from an approval issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in November 2004 which approved an auditing competency standard (CPA/ICAA standard) produced by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

The amendments made by Act 58 of 2016 have been updated in the Point-in-Time Corporations Service current to 14 October 2016. (NB: Subscription required).
