New Notification and Commencement Tables in LawOne

To celebrate the start of 2017, TimeBase has been hard at work to create brand new notification and commencement tables in our flagship legislation product, LawOne. A way to instantly view all Acts or Regulations from a particular year across all jurisdictions, with their related notification details and intricate commencement details - our loyal customers to LawOne will never be without these details again.

Located in each jurisdiction's browse menu, under our new heading for Legislative Information, keep an eye out for even more additions as the year progresses.

Notification Details

Covering all jurisdictions from 1998 to the present, TimeBase notification details not only include notification dates but also all gazette notices including hard copy notices never before published online. 

At TimeBase, we know gazette notices are one of the primary forms of evidence used by courts and lawyers alike to confirm the assent or notification of an Act or Regulation - and we think you should never have to do without this information, now easily accessible in our notification and commencement tables.

Commencement Details

Covering all jurisdictions from 1998 to the present, TimeBase commencement details include:

• Section references where applicable;
• References to standard interpretation provisions tailored to each jurisdiction; and
• Commencement notices detailed in gazettes or published online.

We have also included the currency status of each piece of legislation on our notification and commencement tables, so you can see at a glance whether a piece of legislation is current or repealed.
