Corporations Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Corporations Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the latest amendments from the Corporations Amendment (Client Money) Regulation 2017.

New Regulation

These regulations amend the Corporations Regulations 2001 to strengthen the protection of retail client moneys held by Australian financial services licensees in connection with derivatives transactions by preventing the use of such moneys as working capital or for proprietary trading by the licensee.

The amendments made by the Regulation have been updated in the Point-in-Time Corporations Service current to 26 April 2017. (NB: Subscription required).
