Insurance Contracts Act Reform

The Insurance Contracts Amendment Bill 2010 (Cth) introduced into Parliament early this year contains many amendments to the Insurance Contracts Act. It is an overhaul of the Act which was enacted in 1984, 26 years ago.

An interesting comment which outlines the key features of the Bill and its progress through parliament has been posted to Mondaq by Norton Rose. For those interested in the area it is an important change and worth a read. Feedback welcomed.
