NSW Opposition says fast Broadband is Critical

NSW Opposition says fast broadband is critical to the state's future and has vowed not to adopt a razor gang approach to the $1 billion-plus ICT budget if it wins the March election.

NSW Liberals and Nationals would largely retain the structure of the NSW public sector and evaluate technologies like cloud computing and secure open source software.

It wants to make the IT procurement process simpler and less costly, especially for small and medium businesses competing for government contracts.
