Apple faces new patent infringement lawsuit

Apple is facing a new lawsuit over a patent that was originally owned by LG Electronics, according to a new report from the blog Patently Apple.

The company, called Operating Systems Solutions, has filed the lawsuit regarding the new fast booting feature in the OS X software.

"Apple sells or offers to sell within this district, computer systems, including but not limited to the MacBook Pro, that utilise the Mac OSX operating system that infringes at least claim one of the OSS [Operating System Solutions] Patent,” the lawsuit reportedly claims.
