The Month in Review for Queensland

In total, the legislative activity for Queensland for the month of September looks as follows:

  • 10 new Acts assented (Act Numbers 42 to 51);
  • 36 new Regulations notified on the Queensland Legislation Website (Regulation Numbers 200 to 235);
  • 5 New Regulations proclaiming commencement of Acts (Regulation Numbers 207, 209, 217, 222 and 224);
  • 6 New Bills introduced to the Legislative Assembly over the month;
  • 2 Bills Passed but not assented over the month;
  • 8 Bills Amended through Second Reading Debate over the month;
  • 3 New Bills sent off to Committee; and
  • 18 New expiries under s 22C of the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 (No. 3) (QLD)

In total, there were 353 items of legislation affected in Queensland over the last month in review.
