Employment Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Employment Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include new amendments from the Fair Work Amendment (Respect for Emergency Services Volunteers) Act 2016 (Act 62 of 2016).

The Fair Work Amendment (Respect for Emergency Services Volunteers) Act 2016 (the Act) amends the Fair Work Act 2009 (Fair Work Act) to implement the Government’s commitment to protect emergency service bodies and their volunteers by providing that an enterprise agreement cannot include terms that undermine the capacity of volunteer emergency services bodies to properly manage their volunteer operations, or terms that are inconsistent with State or Territory laws that regulate such bodies.

The amendments from Act 62 of 2016 have been updated in the Point-in-Time Employment Service current to 14 October 2016. (NB: Subscription required).
