Legislation is the primary source of law in this country. And we love it!
Legislation is fluid and dynamic, legislation is complex, legislation changes by the hour, each jurisdiction enacts and amends differently, and it impacts all aspects of life – personal, business and community.
It’s in TimeBase’s DNA to be legislation innovators as evidenced by our globally patented XML management technology which powers our unique Point-in-Time research services.
While technology is a key pillar of what we do, it is our Sydney based legally trained editorial team that provides the required skill, knowledge and expertise to ensure the reliability and useability of all our services.
The heart and soul of TimeBase is the Pyrmont, Sydney based editorial and production team. TimeBase editors are all legally trained and work cooperatively to ensure all TimeBase services are kept up to date, across every jurisdiction, every day.
The TimeBase management team comprises Nickie (National Sales Director), Michael (CTO), Lauren (GM) and Vanessa (CEO). The team has over 30 years combined service at TimeBase.
TimeBase editorial teams are allocated to each jurisdiction and updating is completed daily for all 9 national jurisdictions for legislation and for all jurisdictions for case law content from the High Court to the State Supreme Courts.
To ensure the accuracy of the material we publish, editorial teams are directed to a variety of Parliamentary Counsel's Offices, Government Gazette Data, Responsible Minister's Websites and Legislation Registers to double check currency, commencement data and amendment information before alerts are delivered to customers. Editorial Teams also have access to publisher only subscriptions to all the key national legislation providers ensuring accurate and current content directly from the source.
