Apart from the ability to search the law using Point-in-Time searching, the Corporations Service and many of our other Point-in-Time services provide timeline, historical information and links to comparative tables.
Timeline
An example of a Point-in-Time timeline can be viewed in the Corporations Service which contains a Legislation History Timeline with a set of date links that connect you to the law at the date that the law changed.
Comparative Tables
An example of this feature in the Corporations Service is the Corporations Act-Financial Services Reforms 11 March 2002 table which compares the Corporations Act POST Financial Services Reform (FSR) at 11 March 2002 to Corporations Act PRE Financial Services Reform at 10 March 2002. Unlike static comparative tables this table links to a historical version of the provions and allows you to then move forward using Point-in-Time features see what the section became or to go the other way and see what the section was before it changed.
