Creating a Customised Alert Profile
Create a new Profile for alerting and activity reporting.
- On the LawTracker tab, select Alerts.
- Select New alert profile.
- Fill in the standing information and select Create Profile.
4. Select any combination of Subjects and Sub-subjects. Restrict to specific jurisdictions, Acts, Bills, Regulations. You will be prompted to Save the profile before proceeding.
5. Select specific pieces of legislation to add to your Profile. You will be prompted to Save the profile before proceeding.
6. Select Review Profile to check the content. Deselect to remove content from the Profile. Select Save Profile and Return to Alerts for your Profile list.
Managing Alert Profiles
Manage Alert Profiles from the My alerts page.
My alerts
Select '+' and '-' on the right hand side of the alert profile to show and hide the Alert Summary.
Suspend alerts
Select Suspend alerts to stop email alerts being sent until they are Un-suspended.
Useful when on leave.
Share profile
Select Share profile to add people to a Profile so they can receive the same Alert.
RSS
Select RSS to turn an Alert to an RSS feed.
Edit profile
Select Edit profile to amend the details of the Profile including the details and items of legislation being tracked.
Delete profile
Select Delete profile to remove the Profile. For Profiles that have been shared, a
number of context sensitive options are presented to ensure those users have the option
to continue receiving email alerts relating to the profile.
Daily Activity Reports
View daily activity in each jurisdiction for predefined time periods.
View activity reports
From the LawTracker tab, select Daily activity reports. The activity report lists legislative activity that has occurred, is expected to occur, or has been entered into the database depending on the time period chosen.
View a report by legislation, for time periods - last day (CTH, default), last week, last month, next week, next month.
Custom Legislative Activity Reports
Create customised activity reports for legislative compliance monitoring, activity catch up and on-demand activity reporting. Select a date range of up to 12 months. Choose one or more Events, Jurisdictions, Document type, Subject and Sub-subject. Report types include All activity, Subject or Sub-subject area. The report data set can include all legislation, or restrict it by jurisdiction, profile or by a specific item of legislation.
RSS feeds
Subscribe to popular activity report RSS feeds including Daily activity by jurisdiction
and by Sub-subject, New legislation, Bill activity and Repealed legislation. Click
on the RSS icon to subscribe to an RSS feed to monitor new content matching your query.
