TimeBase Appoints Vanessa Morris as CEO

TimeBase is pleased to announce it has appointed Vanessa Morris to lead the company on as Chief Executive Officer. She takes over from interim CEO, Andrew Bird, Director of Waimarie Investments, who together with Tony Young acquired TimeBase at the end of May 2012.

Vanessa has extensive experience in the legal publishing industry, having previously worked at CCH Australia as the Publisher responsible for the Business, Industrial Relations Law, Human Resources Management and Workplace Safety areas of practice.  In addition to developing and managing editorial and marketing teams she was also instrumental in the launch of a number of new print and digital products including the ‘Hands-On Guide’ range, eLearning Compliance Packages, Newsletters, and Custom Publications for organisations including the Australian Industry Group, Master Builders NSW and the Commonwealth Bank.

More recently Vanessa has been engaged in marketing, change and communications management consulting projects for a number of high-profile organisations including Optus Business, Vodafone, Impart Corporation (eLearning), Department of Defence and Weborganic (Publishing Technology). Her expertise involves understanding customer needs and how information and technology can add value for customers.  She has a degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and started her career in business marketing roles at Westpac and Minter Ellison.

Vanessa joins the current staff and operations in Sydney. She will join Nickie Zammit, our National Business Development Manager, Andrew Bird and Lauren Osbich, the Senior Managing Editor at the ALLA Conference 2012 where she looks forward to meeting many more TimeBase clients.
