The Crime Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Commonwealth Parole Board (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2026 (Cth) (Act No 33 of 2026).

Act 33 of 2026

This Act makes consequential amendments to give effect to the Commonwealth Parole Board Act 2026 (Cth), which establishes a statutory independent Commonwealth Parole Board (the Board) to make effective and risk-informed decisions about the conditional release and management of federal offenders and other detained persons. This Act amends the Crimes Act 1914 (Cth) to support the transition of decision-making from the Attorney-General to the Board, and to confer powers on the Board to make efficient and effective independent, risk-informed decisions about the conditional release and management of federal offenders and other detained persons.

These amendments have been updated in the Point-in-Time Crime Service current to 20 April 2026. (NB: Subscription required).
