The Energy and Resources Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Resource Management and Administration) Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2026 (Cth).

These Regulations aim to implement the outcomes of the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator’s (NOPTA) cost recovery implementation statement for 2026. More specifically, these Regulations make increases in certain levies and fees to ensure that cost recovery arrangements are adequate to enable NOPTA to continue to effectively discharge its regulatory functions.

The new amendments have been updated in the Point-in-Time Energy and Resources Service current to 5 May 2026. (NB: Subscription required).
