GST Point-in-Time Service Updates

The GST Service has been updated to include the Competition and Consumer Amendment (State/Territory Energy Law) Regulations 2026 (Cth).

Competition and Consumer Amendment (State/Territory Energy Law) Regulations 2026

These regulations amend section 7A of the Competition and Consumer Regulation 2010 (Cth), to prescribe Part 8A and Division 3A of Part 12 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998 (Vic) and any regulations made under it, as well as Part 3A of the National Electricity (Victoria) Act 2005 (Vic) as ‘State/Territory energy law’, for the purposes of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

These amendments have been updated in the Point-in-Time GST Service current to 20 May 2026 (NB: subscription required).
