Qantas and Falun Gong: Employee Demotion

In a recent case in front of the Fair Work Australia Tribunal, a Qantas employee says she lost her job as an international flight attendant after being deported from China for practising Falun Gong.

Do you believe that Qantas had the right to change her to short haul duties as “staff must be able to travel anywhere”? Does this have any human rights implications?
