ACCC sues Optus for Misleading and Deceptive Conduct

The ACCC has launched legal action against Optus, accusing the telecommunications company of engaging in misleading or deceptive advertising for its broadband plans, particularly for its 'Think Bigger' and 'Supersonic' promotional campaigns.

The ACCC alleges that Optus did not specify that data download speed would be slowed once a certain data limit was reached.

Do you think this is something that only the big telecommunications companies are guilty of? Or is it so widespread that it is common knowledge for consumers?
