Will the possibilty of faulty insualtion effect how property is bought and sold?

The Climate Change Department has reported that only a small percentage of houses insulated under a controversial Federal Government program have been affected by fire. In all some 197 fires are attributed to faulty insulation. However, even if small in overall terms will there be ongoing issues? For example, in the area of real estate the insulation question raises new issues of due diligence and whether this now includes checking the roof insulation for the type and quality of insulation involved. Will some form of certification be required in future as to the quality and proper instalation of insulation?
