Safe Work Awards in Queensland Reduce Incidence of Death

Winners of the Safe Work Australia Awards can get as much as $5000 in the Small Business Category and a change to compete in the national Small Business Awards.

Industrial Relations Minister Cameron Dick said the awards were an important part of the State Government's commitment to reducing death and injury rates in Queensland workplaces.

“These awards honour innovation and success in cutting workplace fatalities and injuries – so all these companies and individuals deserve acclaim whether they win or not,” Mr Dick said.
