Frequently asked questions

What is the MALT Research Date that appears when I first log in to my Point-in-Time Service?

Q:

What is the MALT Research Date that appears when I first log in to my Point-in-Time Service?

A:

The default MALT research date is the latest date to which our Editors have determined that the legislation or rules are up-dated to. All relevant changes commenced up to this date have been incorporated.

The default MALT research date is regularly advanced, unless TimeBase is awaiting receipt of new changes to the rules or legislation, or is in the process of consolidating changes introduced since that date.

The user can reset the MALT research date to any earlier or later date within the range of the product. This can be done amending the date displayed in the centre top of the page, either by inserting a new date or selecting a new date on the on-line calendar. The user can be assured that the version they are viewing incorporates all changes to the rules up to the default research date.
