Corporations Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Corporations Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Treasury Laws Amendment (Australian Consumer Law Review) Act 2018 (Cth) (Act No 132 of 2018).

Act 132 of 2018

This Act makes a number of amendments to give effect to a number of proposals suggested in the Australian Consumer Law Review – Final Report (ACL Review Final Report).
The amendments clarify and strengthen consumer protections relating to consumer guarantees, voluntary recalls, unsolicited consumer agreements, product safety, false billing, unconscionable conduct, pricing and unfair contract terms.

The amendments made by this Act have been updated in the Point-in-Time Corporations Service current to 13 November 2018. (NB: subscription required).
