'La-la land' law: NSW Police call for ban on Ipods while crossing roads

The Sydney Morning Herald has today reported that the NSW Police would "support laws banning the use of iPods, mobile phones and other electronic devices while crossing the road and while riding bicycles".

The move to ban such distracting technology is a quickly becoming a trend in the United States.  States such as Oregon, Virginia and California are moving to ban devices such as iPods from being used with a bicycle with fines up to $US100. Click here to read full article.
