Plastic bag ban information sessions

The Northern Territory Government is holding information sessions in Darwin today about its plan to ban plastic bags Territory-wide from September.

The proposed phase-out of the environmentally harmful bags will begin starting in May.

The move is part of a multi-million dollar policy to reduce waste in the Territory.
